A perky bunch of daffodils, resting in a crystal vase
A clutch of seashells, displaying hues of cashmere, ivory, oyster, aubergine, peregrine, sandstone. Some collected by me, some not; at different times and locations. My fingers often run across their small ridged expanse, seeking out secret smooth, shallow, hollows. Enjoying their cool solidity grounding me in my skin with each touch.

All items together and alone, a sanctuary for my fractured soul.
Hi Friend,
What special items do you keep on desk/kitchen table/coffee table? You know, the ones that give you comfort and help ground you when you need a little extra help?
Is there a space in your home, just for you to relax, think, play?
It can be as simple as a tray on your lap with a notebook and stationary supplies.Or a favourite chair/beanbag you sit on to read or listen to music.
What soothes your soul today? I’d love to know.
Sending you a smile,
Lynette
Beautiful. I am so lucky to have a window by my desk and can look out on the changing seasons in the garden.
